On Nov. 21, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service announced that fire restrictions have been lifted throughout the state after rainfall

For the first time in weeks, the NJ Forest Fire Service's dashboard shows fire danger is "low." The agency previously banned all fires .

"Although” restrictions have been lifted, the Forest Fire Service asks that New Jerseyans do not become complacent and continue to be careful when using fire.

Please be advised that the County is scheduled to mill/pave Cedar Lane from Teaneck Road to the Hackensack border beginning Tuesday, November 19th. 

Milling will begin at the Hackensack Border on NOV. 19th.
Paving tentatively scheduled for Nov. 25th. 
NO ROAD WORK WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR NOV. 27th. 

**DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE**

Expect detours and traffic delays during the milling and paving process. Please plan an alternate route if possible.

Emergency NO PARKING signage will be in the area where needed.
